About Kushinagar Airport: This airport is situated near the Nepal border and which is close to state Bihar. It is only the international airport project in 150 km radius and Gorakhpur airport, about 51 km away to take care of the small number of domestic flights. International flights have already started from last month at this airport. Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh is in the middle point of the Buddhist circuit, so you can visit Lumbini, Kapilvastu, Shravasti. Kushinagar is one of the ancient historical sites. This is one of the holy places for Buddhists. If you go a little further you can reach other pilgrimage destinations like Sarnath and Gaya.
About Ayodhya Airport: Both our Central and UP governments planned to make Ayodhya International tourist destination after the completion of Ram Temple. We all know that a few months back Ram Temple was launched by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state has started working on a detailed development plan for the town with an International Airport. 500+ crore have been approved by the state for the construction of the airport and likely to be named after Ram Mandir. The state has decided 178-acre area that will be used for flying club activities and non-scheduled flights by small aircraft. We also came to know the first phase of this International Airport will be ready by the end of 2021.
About Jewar Airport: In 2021-22 budgets the U.P government has made a provision of Rs 2,000 crore for the expansion of the Noida International Greenfield Airport in Jewar. They also announced the setting up an ‘electronic city’ near this airport. It is decided to increase the airstrips at the airport from two to six; the government has assigned Rs 2,000 crores for this. The overall cost of the airport will be around 30,000 crores. After completion, this airport will be the largest in the country. The first phase of the Jewar airport will be completed in the year 2023.
About Sonebhadra Airport: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has declared that this airport will come in the underdeveloped Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. It is the second-largest district of Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh is the only state in India that borders with four states – Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar. This is incredible.
