Ratnagiri is one of the most beautiful destinations situated in the southwestern region of Maharashtra, which is surrounded with hills, creeks, shores, forests, rivers and waterfalls. The place is capped with Sahyadri range on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other side. Once can trace the earliest of the reference of this place in the epic Mahabharata as the place where the Pandavas resided during the exile period of 13 years.
