Kota’s culture is all about fairs and festivals which are celebrated with great flair. The major festivals here are Gangaur, Dussehra and Diwali. Each year in December, a handicraft Mela is conducted which displays the grandeur of the Rajasthani Paintings and other tribal cultural objects. In the month of February, an industry mela is conducted which gives a fair opportunity to the small business persons to exhibit their products to the people from all walks of life and thus gain more business.
