We were supposed to break our journey for meeting with a client in Thane. Being frequent travelers we were well aware of how to book<a title=\"How to Book Food on Train\" href=\"http:\/\/www.travelerfood.com\/food_delevery.php?stationid=TNA\"><strong> food on train<\/strong><\/a> and so ordered our breakfast to be delivered at the station itself. After enjoying a quick bite, we booked a taxi from outside the station and went directly to the famous Ambarnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and constructed from intricately carved black stone.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_922\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelerfood.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Upvan-Lake.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-922\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-922\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travelerfood.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Upvan-Lake.jpg\" alt=\"Upvan Lake\" width=\"500\" height=\"376\" data-id=\"922\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travelerfood.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Upvan-Lake.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.travelerfood.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Upvan-Lake-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.travelerfood.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Upvan-Lake-110x83.jpg 110w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-922\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Upvan Lake<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Source :\u00a0http:\/\/bit.ly\/1QCW8Mm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After spending some time there we went to see the Har Har Gange waterfalls inside the Suraj Water Park, which holds the distinction of being the highest manmade waterfall in India. We then proceeded to the Sudhagrah Fort, an extremely ancient fort dating back to around 2<sup>nd<\/sup> century AD.\u00a0 Our next stop was the Upvan Lake, which is considered to be the biggest lake in the city. \u00a0We enjoyed a light lunch by the lake side, before proceeding to the city\u2019s most famous tourist hot spot, namely the Thane Creek. This creek is a major Bird Conservation site in India and we enjoyed the amazing view of several different species of aviators within their natural surroundings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By the time we left the Creek, we were totally exhausted and hence went directly to the station to wait for our train to Bhubneshwar.
