Situated in the eastern region of Bihar, the city of Bhagalpur is best known for producing and distributing high quality silk to the rest of the country. The city which is located at 141 feet above the level of the sea is said to be the capital of the kingdom, Anga which was under the reign of Karna, the great warrior from the Mahabharata times.<\/p>\n
